thoughts of drunken discourse
and a bed 
that drips of desire
from each image in my head
not required
but still felt nonetheless
as i undress
it comes alive, to steal me from the night.
the walk home
alone but hardly alone
thoughts to keep me company
of bodies and snaphots of a night
so uncharacteristically light
and still filled with lightness the next day.
snapshots of a face
i know the feel and remember the taste
motion retraced
a feeling taped to a night like no other.
to discover
this magic inside
i forgot that i had it
but it was there the whole time.
